Small family farm in south Czechia
Jihočeský
Sněžný Dvůr
Small family farm. We have found this place a three years ago, so its really beginning of our way. You can plant some trees, take care about vegetable outside and in the glasshouse.
Or you can build some small project with us. In winter time some forestry work in the woods.
About the animals- for now is only dog, cats, rabbits and huns with us.
Our farm is located in the middle of nowhere:-)
But if you like there is a touch of civilization too, city Prachatice is just 11km from us.
Internet access available, but only like a hot spot, so it is quite limited. You would live in tiny caravan or if you prefer you can stay in the house (kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms). Lets send us a message and we can talk about it:)
Sauna is also available for you.

Děkuji a doporučuji všema deseti.

Alexandra and Jiri are very nice and friendly hosts, I can recommend this place a lot! :) I wwoofed there for three weeks and enjoyed the time very much. There is a lot to do on the farm and they are very grateful for every help. They were also very respectful and always asked before if it was ok for me to do this or that work. Also they always checked that I didn't had to work more than 5h a day, and the weekend was off (but they are also flexible about that if you want other days etc.). And you can always talk to them, and they take very good care of you (they offered me working clothes, washed my clothes for me, etc.). They also have a self-built sauna and a small clear pond in the garden, where you can relax after work!
During the week we always had lunch together (Alexandra cooks very well) and also on the weekends sometime. I lived in a small and cozy campervan (with electricity). For breakfast and dinner I had my own outdoor-kitchen (under the roof of a old barn) equipped with everything you need. I worked a lot in the greenhouse and garden (digging the soil, planting, watering, weeding ..) and took care of the rabbits and hens :) Apart from that I helped were I could with the work that was to do on that day (moving hey from the barn, mowing the grass, repairing things,..). I would be happy to wwoof there again sometime!
(concerning the comment below: I can assure that they are not racist at all - I'm sure it was a missunderstanding in communication)

Very rude and probably racist host. She took over two months to reply and when she finally did, she responded with "Didn't check inbox..." and declined my request.
I have no problem with being declined, the only issue is the lack of explanation and apology for such a late reply.

I`m very sorry Blossom, it`s a missunderstanding. I can understand it feels rude to get this short answer. We were really busy at that time and it has been our fault that we did not check our inbox. We are definitely not rasist at all, everyone is welcome here! We would be happy to welcome you any other time in a future.

A very warm welcome to this wwoofing place. A small family farm really in the middle of nowhere. Peacefull and quiet. That does not mean there is nothing going on. They turning this place into their own paradise. Building a house and growing their own vegetables and fruits. Just what I was looking for. The hospitality from Alexandra and Jiri is huge. They life here with their cute child Zofka. Don't forget about Hubert. Small in size, but a proper farm dog he is. I really loved it here. Daily tasks is the start of the day. Feeding the animals. After the daily routine, tasks are seasonal and on the spot. You won't get bored.
I will loved it here.

Naša prvá a nie posledná skusenost s Woofingom.
