We mainly renew old vinyards and orchards in the micro region of Grußbach/Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou. We work our own and leased land from the state and the municipality, for which they have no energy themselves.
Our goal is the renewal of a region which up until today suffers from the expulsion of it's former residents.
Obnovujeme staré sady, vinice a zahrady především v mikroregionu Hrušovansko. Spolupracujeme s obcemi a místními okrašlovacími spolky.
Spoléháme se na pomoc přátel a rodinných příslušníků, ruční práci, sdílení se sousedy a trvale udržitelné způsoby hospodaření.
Organic methods: Local manure. Roosters harvesting worms.
Certifications: Biokont

September 2017
I didn't want to write a reference to be honest as I don't like being negative and my primary concern is to encourage and support organic farming and farmers. However as the reference for me didn't give the correct account, included false information and a 'not recommended' (disgracefully in my opinion), I have now been asked by a woofer if I'd recommend this farm so I'll be honest and transparent here instead of commenting privately.
We arrived from Spain as a family of 5 with 3 boys ages 6 and 7. We drove for around 3 days having scheduled our placement approximately 20 days previously. We were told the accomodation was a 4 room house with its own garden and stables!! Sound nice hey!!! Well for some reason I trusted that there wouldn't be anything else to ask.
Upon arrival seeing the glazing of a front window broken, the garden overgrown and it next to a pub I wondered hmmm am I in the correct location.
It got better

I enjoyed working in the various orchards picking fruit, pruning trees and clearing land. Sometimes, I also worked in their vineyards. This is a good place to visit if you are interested in the production side of fruit farming. Robert answered all my questions about the business side too. The accommodation is in a pleasant quiet street. I'd go back there.
