Dear WWOOFers, welcome to Ranch Srbsko. We are a small, family owned, organic ranch, following the principles of permaculture. We are located in the beautiful surroundings of Cesky Raj (Bohemian Paradise). Currently, we are home to horses, jersey cows and chickens. We grow vegetables on raised beds on a plot of about 250 square meters, and it has been ten years since planting our 1,000 square meter perennial food forest. The horses and cows roam on about 7 hectares of farm pasture. Our family speaks both Czech and English fluently (Michaela grew up in Prague and Justin spent his childhood in California). We have two 16 square meter wooden cabins each including a shower and a kitchen and beds for up to two people. Organic methods: food forest, raised beds, aquaponics, composting, ponds, etc. Certifications: We don't sell our products so we don't need it. Also maintaining certification is costly and time consuming so we have cancelled it. Internet access available. We accept volunteers from the beginning of March to the end of October.

A nice small family-farm located in a very beautiful scenery of a national park. During my stay, there were cows, horses, chickens, pet-bunnies, cats and a friendly dog. The crops are: fruit trees, herbs, and all sorts of vegetables. The accommodation is in cabins. The cabin is equipped with a sink, shower (hot water), kitchenette and an electric heater. There is an outdoor-composting toilet. The groceries are provided by the host. The hosts are vegetarian and treat their animals accordingly. There are very good bus-connections with Prague.

I had unforgettable experience with Michaela, Justin and their family. How they manage their farm, how they treat the animals and their land are incredible. I was so lucky to live there and learning a lot from them about "live in harmony with nature and follow its laws, the relationship with it becomes more balanced". On the farm, for example, when we manage it in line with nature's rhythms, nature gives back generally - through the growth of animals, the harvest of fruits and vegetables, and the abundance of the land itself. Their horses and cows have their names, they are basically the family members. They've been passing many knowledges about herbs and mushroom as well, I was happy to be involved in on all their projects, big and small, even their daughters has been sharing knowledge and passions on different subjects related to farming, plants, food etc. What's more, they provided me the peaceful space for practicing yoga and meditation, and I can be there with my own time schedule; Route for hiking; Places to visit in Prague.... Thanks again for their host and generosity, I'll be returning back!! All the best!

I spent 2 weeks in August on Justin and Michaela's farm, and it was wonderful. I helped with milking the cow, and looking after the chickens, as well as planting for the winter, and general tending of the farm. Justin and Michaela and their daughters were so kind and welcoming, and generous and relaxed. I swam a lot in the nearby lake and went on hikes around the area which Michaela recommended and helped me out with. Staying in the cabin was a lovely experience and my time on the farm completely outdid my expectations. They have a beautiful and relaxed way of life, and take care of their farm in an inspiring way. Thank you to them!!!

I spent an amazing 12 days at Ranch Srbsko and really couldn't have chosen a better place for my first WWOOF experience. Justin, Michaela and their daughters were very welcoming and I truly enjoyed spending time with them, soaking up their knowledge and learning new things. I helped with weeding, preparing garden beds, planting, freeze drying, taking care of animals, milking and lots of other things. The ranch is situated in a peaceful corner of Český Ráj and the whole area is just stunning. All in all, amazing people, beautiful nature, very pleasant accommodation and the food was simply a delight. Im beyond grateful and definitely plan to visit this ranch again in the future :)

I spent a wonderful week at Justin's and Michaela's ranch. I helped with harvesting and processing vegetables, taking care of chickens and horses. Justin and Michaela were happy to answer my questions about permaculture farming and farm life. The surroundings of Serbia village is beautiful, accommodation in a small wooden cabin was charming. I am grateful for the kind reception and I was also pleased to have the opportunity to practice yoga together every morning.

Justin and Michaela and their two daughters were very welcoming hosts. We were accommodated in a small wooden cabin beside the house that was cozy and pleasant to stay at. We got to know more about farm life and helped out with different types of tasks such as cleaning out the garage, collecting wood, harvesting onions or tomatoes, etc.. We also got to attend joga with Justin and Michaela in the mornings which was fun. Overall we had a very nice time at Ranch Srbsko and we would recommend it to anyone who wants to be in the nature, slow down and learn more about farm life.
