Hi! We’re Ruda and Jana. We live in a small, peaceful village with only 30 inhabitants. We keep two horses, chickens, and ducks. We grow our own vegetables and fruit, and we cut firewood in our own forest. We cook homemade meals — cheeses, spreads, yogurt. Our neighbor bakes us homemade bread in exchange for our cheese. We prepare food for ourselves, for sale, and for barter. You can help us with all of these activities. You’ll be staying in our house and eating together with us. Nearby, you’ll find the protected landscape area Blanský les, a stream for swimming just 1 km away, and a lake for swimming 10 km away. The UNESCO town of Český Krumlov is 30 km away, and the UNESCO village Holašovice is 15 km away. We make homemade cider, preserve vegetables and fruit, and experiment with our own balsamic vinegar and horseradish-preserved apple juice. Jana plays the saxophone. Ahoj. Jmenujeme se Ruda a Jana.
