We had a truly wonderful woofing experience!! The family is incredibly warm, kind and generous. We felt very welcome and their gratitude for our help was genuine. The work was flexible and we appreciated the independence we had in managing our schedule. This even allowed us to organize a trip to Prague during our stay :) The tasks were varied: we took care of the animals, cut wood, mowed the lawn, repaired fences and did some weeding. We also shared one delicious meal together each day which was always a convivial moment. We would highly recommend a woofing experience here!

Hey everyone, I spent 1.5 weeks at Alena’s and Hynek’s farm, and it was a truly beautiful experience for me (also my first WWOOFing experience). Alena and Hynek are amazing people, and they were incredibly caring. They have a lot of knowledge about sustainable small-scale farming, permaculture, and producing a wide range of products in a self-sufficient way. It was very inspiring, and I learned a lot. The food was amazing as well, there was always something fresh to eat: fresh milk, yogurt from their cow, fresh eggs, and much more :) There was always something going on with the kids, dogs, and cats, so I never felt lonely, even though I was the only WWOOFer at that time. The farm is located in a really beautiful region, and there was so much to explore in the afternoons and during the free weekend. Alena had many great tips on where to go and what to see. All in all, I would definitely recommend volunteering at Alena’s and Hynek’s farm. It’s a truly valuable experience and hope that one day I will be able to come back:) Thank you for everything!

I had a really good time with Jana. Learned lots of new things. She has a small farm but still there is always something to do. Everyday is different which makes it interesting. There is enough time to relax and go on a hike for yourself as well. Jana herself is a really kind and honest person. We connected very well and I will definitely come back! Would recommend.

Staying on this farm was honestly one of the most beautiful experiences my boyfriend and I have had. The farm is surrounded by stunning nature, and Helena and Adam take such loving care of their home. We learned so much just by being there. They’re incredibly kind and open, showing us around, taking us mushroom picking and hiking, and making us feel completely at home. Their kids are full of life and curiosity, and the goats are absolutely hilarious. We got to watch the whole process of cheese-making and even learned how to milk the goats ourselves. If you want to learn about cheese and goat care, and be part of a warm, inspiring family, this is the place to be. You don’t just help out here. You connect, grow and carry a little piece of this place with you.

A nice small family-farm located in a very beautiful scenery of a national park. During my stay, there were cows, horses, chickens, pet-bunnies, cats and a friendly dog. The crops are: fruit trees, herbs, and all sorts of vegetables. The accommodation is in cabins. The cabin is equipped with a sink, shower (hot water), kitchenette and an electric heater. There is an outdoor-composting toilet. The groceries are provided by the host. The hosts are vegetarian and treat their animals accordingly. There are very good bus-connections with Prague.

We spent about a week with our three kids in the community at Preserved Seed Farm, and it was a very special experience. The community was in the middle of a big construction push to finish an extension to the main house, which kept them busy from early morning until late at night, yet they welcomed us warmly. They immediately helped us settle in, found a place for our RV, and encouraged us to join at our own rhythm. Our days were a mix of homeschooling with the kids and lending a hand where we could, without any pressure to work, even during such a busy period. We had the chance to explore different areas that interested us—gardening, kitchen work, and even milking animals. Sometimes we worked as a group, other times individually, which gave everyone the opportunity to learn and contribute in their own way. We also appreciated the openness of the community. Discussions around religion happened naturally and candidly, without any pressure, and we never felt confronted with gender-role expectations that others have mentioned in reviews. In fact, they were pleasantly surprised that my wife was a gardener, and she quickly became more involved and took on responsibilities in the gardens as the week went on. Overall, we definitely recommend visiting the farm, meeting the community, and spending time with them. All of us enjoyed the experience, and we even reconnected with some members afterward at their store and at the market.

The family is very friendly and welcoming, they explained everything to me (how to do my tasks) and gave me plenty of time to finish them. There's always something to do at the farm, I mostly helped with collecting vegetables, seeds and other greens, while also helping with maintaining of their huge property. It was a great experience :)

Mezi Lesy is a genuine off-grid family farm on a hill. I had a great time helping out with all kinds of jobs—picking plums, apples, and Cornelian cherries; doing metalwork; feeding the animals; helping with paving; and washing lots of dishes. The food and cakes were tasty and there was always plenty. The place to sleep was basic: just a mattress on the floor, an outdoor compost toilet, and a cold shower. I also really enjoyed playing with their daughter, Berenika. She made the stay even more fun and special.

I had unforgettable experience with Michaela, Justin and their family. How they manage their farm, how they treat the animals and their land are incredible. I was so lucky to live there and learning a lot from them about "live in harmony with nature and follow its laws, the relationship with it becomes more balanced". On the farm, for example, when we manage it in line with nature's rhythms, nature gives back generally - through the growth of animals, the harvest of fruits and vegetables, and the abundance of the land itself. Their horses and cows have their names, they are basically the family members. They've been passing many knowledges about herbs and mushroom as well, I was happy to be involved in on all their projects, big and small, even their daughters has been sharing knowledge and passions on different subjects related to farming, plants, food etc. What's more, they provided me the peaceful space for practicing yoga and meditation, and I can be there with my own time schedule; Route for hiking; Places to visit in Prague.... Thanks again for their host and generosity, I'll be returning back!! All the best!
