Help us build future for the EARTH!!!! Come and experience real live and eat real food, and do something for our future generations to return this Earth in a better state than the one we were passed on by our ancestors! Hello! We are a family based biodynamic community farming associacion in South Bohemia St.Michael’s Farm and we are looking for people with enthusiasm and workskill that want to come along and help us build an educational centre for kids from basic and high schools, laymen and professionals that want to learn more about companion planting and biodynamic preparations and agriculture and healthy lifestyle. We are a family of 7 but the eldest kids are already more off than on the farm :) We enjoy community and have already built a small one here that needs to grow and we welcome open-hearted people that do not mind to work, talk deep spiritual discussions as well as just have fun while working. We offer accomodation and food and also our skills to share, that include cheese making, sourdough bread baking, tending the farm animals, vegetable growing, orchard work etc. We have two cows, seven goats, two horses, poultry, and usually also a pig. We aim for self-sufficiency and sustainability, which means organic food only, mainly only from our farm, reuse, recycle, and live in peace with the surrounding and nature. Our finance is limited but we are currently applying for grants, in order to make this 16 year old adventure a bit more forward – for we have all but a lot of money :D We live in a natural park in the middle of meadows and woods and our little village only has 10 permanent inhabitants (including us). We farm on 7 hectars, two of those are attached to the house, the veggies grow on 5000 m2, two greenhouses of abour 60 m2. We have two ponds with fish and really agreat variety of possible activities, and we will be grateful for any help that comes our way for it makes our dream come true, for the kids to be closer to the hands on experience „from cow to cheese“, „from grain to bread“ etc. We would like to find people with kindred souls, a person or a couple that want to work here a couple of weeks or maybe all summer, maybe longer, who have carpenter skills, are handy, quick to learn, don’t mind work and know how to relax, and who want pehaps to learn someting new. So if you feel you are the person/people, come and help us. We can help you in return, teaching you farming skills, offer you a place in a wohnhauses, offering a break from the town and electronic society, social networks, teaching you bread baking, cheese making, hebrbal healing, discussing biodynamic agriculture, anthroposophy, various religions and more. We speak English, Francais, son Deutsch, and many more languages so if you feel the calling, contact us and let’s get the ball running!!! <3i

I had the pleasure of spending two weeks with Ludmila and Roman and enjoyed my stay very much. Roman and Ludmila pour love into everything that they do, and it shows in their delightful baked goods, fresh cheeses, and their amazing children. I never felt pressured to do anything I didn’t enjoy and was frequently encouraged and reminded to take breaks. I feel as though I’ve made friends for life, and I look forward to visiting again in the future

This was my first wwoof experience and it felt like I hit the jackpot. I had such a fantastic time at Ludmila and Roman's farm. With open arms they welcomed me in their family home, cooking me meals almost exclusively derived from the land. They patiently and enthusiastically shared their many stories - I could even speak my own language with Ludmila, who's seen and been to many interesting places - and I got to experience just a little of what it takes to run a self-sufficient and sustainable biodynamic farm. Their philosophy shines through in everything they do and it combines an immense respect for the earth, people and animals with an impressive work ethic and an ability to relax and reflect at the same time. Thank you for this experience, I do hope we will meet again!

It was such a wonderful place. ✴︎ They live in a small universe! Ludmila and Roman are so sweet and generous. I learned a lot through their way of living and their wisdoms gained over years. Ludmila is a herbal therapist filled with compassion. It is amazing that she knows a lot about each herbs growing in her garden. Roman is a cool carpenter and likes to make people laugh. :) If you want to learn what we can do for our future, there should be something for sure. I will definitely come back here again!
